Q: I am going there on a family holiday and my son has got a big phobia of them? Just wanted to find out if they live round there or if they show up on the beach or anything. Thanks
A: There are absoluteny no snakes or scorpions on Tenerife (north or south). Although there are many ocean snakes in the world, none of them come to Tenerife shores. Your son will be just fine. Best of luck on your trip.
