A: http://travel.state.gov/passport/get/get_840.html that page will tell you everything you need to know. It is rather simple, go down to your city courthouse and get a passport application. When you go to turn it in, you will need 2 special pictures for the passport. Walmart does passport photos, tell them you want passport photos. You will need some forms of identification, like a drivers license or ID card. Also you will need your birth certificate if i remember correctly. You send the stuff off and the Federal government sends your stuff back with your passport. I do not remember the cost but it is not cheap, like 120 bucks i think. I remember it took a long time like 3 months. Anyway just follow the sites instructions. Hope this helps
