Am I forgetting anything to pack?

Q: I will be going to San Francisco for a week and I always seem to forget something! Here's a basic list: 1. Jeans 2. Shorts 3. Sweatshirts 4. Short-sleeved Shirts 5. Socks and underwear 6. Gym shoes 7. Toiletries (brush, toothpaste, toothbrush, face wash, make-up and remover...) 8. Pajamas 9. Athletic Clothes 10. Camera and battery charger 11. Phone and charger Anything else you can think of? Thank you very much. Oh yes, and my iPod and books for the plane.

A: Deodorant Perfume Shampoo and conditioner and shower gel, Loofah and razor Band aids and Neosporin, just in case! Cotton balls, tweezers, nail file, etc, just in case! Any medications that you take and aspirin Sunglasses Sunblock Aloe Vera, in case you do get sunburned. What you can do is, when you wake up the morning, as you begin your day, write dorubber bandngs you are using, and as you go about your day, keep writing down all the things you use, these are the things that you'll need to pack and become your packing list. As you pack, you can cross them off the list. Don't take any good jewelry, you don't want to lose it and be upset, but I would take a watch! I would also take things like your toothpaste, etc, anything that can open and put them in a ziplock bag, if the bag doesn't close, wrap a rubberband around it to seal it. This way, if it opens, it opens inside the bag and not all over your clothing ruining all your clothing and things. Do the same with shampoo, make-up remover, etc. When the item doesn't fit, I put it in cap first, and then wrap the remaining bag around it and then rubber band it until it's tightly around. This way it's safe and secure in the bag! You may also want to bring one or two plastic grocery bags to put your dirty socks and underwear in to bring home with you so they don't get mixed up with your clean clothes.
